There will be three different sessions offered:

Session 1 - Fundamentals
Presentation (90min)– what real-time means; why use an OS; basic functions of an OS
Hands-On Lab (120 min) – set up project; build the first examples with 3 tasks; use a semaphore; use OS delay

Session 2 - Shared Resources
Presentation (90min )– problems with shared resources: 1) priority inversion/inheritance; 2) Deadlock; 3) Gatekeeper
Hands-On Lab (120 min)
Prerequisite: Session 1

Session 3 - Advanced Topics
Presentation (90min) – How to handle interrupts; Trace Hook Macros
Hands-On Lab (120 min)
Prerequisite: Session 1
