To assist us in planning and making arrangements for participants, we kindly ask that you register for Sexualities & Gender Diversity Trainings. This is the training program that was formerly known as the Safe Zone Program.
The Sexualities and Gender Diversity Educational Program Training series covers the fundamentals of vocabulary and inclusive language, campus issues and resources, social justice and intersectionality, and ways you can take action and get involved. It's also a great space to network with and meet others on campus, who are also excited to create change and continue to make Hamline a welcoming community for all.
Start off the series by learning more about the basics of sexuality and gender, an introduction to terminology, and resources here at Hamline. This training is highly recommended for anyone new to Hamline or if you have been here for a long time and haven't participated in a LGBTQIA training since 2016. It is also required to participate in our diving deeper 3 part skills building training series.
