Michigan Tech Emergency Medical Services offers courses in CPR/First Aid/AED through the American Heart Association. Please complete this form to request a certification course for your organization.

The Heartsaver CPR/First Aid course is designed by the American Heart Association and teaches important life­-saving techniques. The class is divided into two sections, one covering CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and one covering first aid techniques for common medical problems. After taking the course, students will be better prepared to assist in emergency situations. The Heartsaver CPR/First Aid course takes approximately four hours.

What each student will receive:
● CPR/First Aid Certification Card
● CPR Pocket Mask
● Hands on training and practice
● Knowledge and know-­how to save someone’s life

Cost:
● $ 45.00 per person, minimum of 5 students, maximum of 8 students - 2 instructors will be in attendance

The cost is necessary to cover the expense associated with offering the class. Payments are accepted in cash or check at the start of the course. For more information, please contact Devyn Fleischer at dsfleisc@mtu.edu 

Please provide at least three prospective dates and times and give us three weeks notice prior to the earliest date. Classes are scheduled based on instructor availability and demand. Please keep in mind our instructors are all volunteers.
