Q: What do you need help with?
A1) Telling people about Sustainable Magic and the Magic box. Our mission, what we do, join our email list, etc. Hanging out with the art installation or sitting at a table in front of the Magic Box.
A2) Set up and tear-down
A3) Telling people about the micro-workshops and keeping the workshops orderly (we'll have a blacklight crafting area and an interactive thermal imaging installation)
A4) Sitting looking happy and handing out flyers/info and guiding people to fill our contact form/join email list. :) (And watching over the installation.)

Q: I don't know if I can answer lots of questions about Sustainable Magic/etc - halp!
A1: We will fill you in and also provide some background info and talk point documents, etc. Don't worry. :)

Q: What do I get for helping?
A1: Free or discount entry to the Maker Faire, which is jam-packed with amazing things to do, see, try! Plus the joy of helping us get the word out about Sustainable Magic, which will help us be financially sustainable and others get connected with creating and art. It's pretty fun seeing how excited people get. Plus hugs? We'll bring snacks too.  Also we plan to make some cool badges for our volunteers to wear to identify themselves.

Q: How long is a time slot?
A: 2.5 hours

Q: Should I bring anything?
A: Aside from whatever basics you would normally bring, if you have a labcoat and a black shirt, we may try to turn that into a ad hoc uniform, or else rainbows. :)

BONUS: We will provide a "GREEN ROOM" for relaxing, napping, storing stuff, eating food, etc, in the Magic Box.
