Assess prior year’s events and develop a calendar of student activities and special events with a minimum of four events. Activities and events will be funded through fundraising opportunities to cover student costs. Teacher costs will be covered through general funds.

Assign staff to take the lead on at least one activity for students that may include: educational field trips aligned to academic content, field trips to universities/colleges, field trips to local businesses, social events (dances, prom) and community service opportunities.  

Increase enrollment in the Leadership class. The Leadership class will perform at least two community service or public speaking events. The Leadership class will also help with designing flyers and promoting school events and activities. Costs of supplies will be covered by general funds.

Survey student interests and form at least two student clubs. Staff members will serve as advisors for the clubs.

Promote and convene a parents’ group in order to schedule events and activities that will include parent involvement. Provide parents a minimum of two opportunities (one each semester) to meet.
