Award Eligibility:
ITA Member Coach who has completed his/her 2nd year at their current school.
This award cannot go to the same individual more than two years in a row.
The pool for ITA National Award Winners comes from the Regional Winners plus any at-large candidates.  (An example of an at-large candidate would be a coach who won the Regional Award the previous year--and hence was not eligible for this year's Regional Award)

Nominees will be evaluated on:
Team Performance during the current year as well as overall coaching career
Sportsmanship of nominee as well as of his/her student-athletes
Contributions on campus and in the community

Selection:
National awards are selected by the national award committee and regional awards are selected by the regional award committee.
