I hereby agree to abide by the rules of Gliding New Zealand and the Matamata Soaring Centre. In consideration of this entry being accepted I agree to save harmless indemnify and keep indemnified Gliding New Zealand, the Matamata Soaring Centre, The Matamata Cross Country Trust, the Sailplane Racing Committee and their respective officers, members, employees, agents, and representatives (the "organisers") against all actions, suits, claims and demands costs, damages and expenses to which the organisers shall or may be liable for or in respect of any loss, damage, accidents or injury of whatsoever nature or kind and howsoever sustained or occasioned and whether to aircraft property or persons arising directly or indirectly or in connection with the cross country course or activity related thereto and notwithstanding that any  waiver or other indulgence has been given to any pilot(s) in respect of any obligation and I shall and do hereby fully and completely indemnify and protect the organisers against all or any liability for damage loss or injury caused by any act, omission or negligence on the part of me and my servants, agents or crew. I further declare that:a. a) The entered aircraft will have a current annual/tech log. b. b) The entered aircraft will have an operable Mode C capable transponder if flight into controlled airspace is to be undertaken. It is understood that tasks may be set inside of transponder mandatory airspace. c. c) The entered aircraft will have an operable airband transceiver radio. d. d) The entered aircraft will have fitted or the pilot in command will have on their person an Emergency Locator Transmitter ( 406MHz). e. e) The entered aircraft will have current aeronautical charts covering the competition area. f. f) The pilot is a Qualified Glider Pilot certified by the national body of their home country, including a Flight Radio Operators qualification. g. g) The pilot will have a current BFR. h. h) The pilot and aircraft are covered by current third party insurance cover to the value of at least $500,000 i. i) The pilot will wear a serviceable parachute, which has been packed within the last 12 months, during flight in the competition. j. j) The pilot is a current financial member of Gliding New Zealand k. k) The organisers may use flight tracks recovered from the participants GPS for administrative and promotional activities.
