2016 Quantitative Literacy Faculty Excellence Award Self-Statement
The QLP Faculty Excellence award recognizes, encourages and rewards excellence in faculty teaching courses enhanced with quantitative literacy (Q-courses). Faculty members who Q-courses in Fall 2014, Spring 2015 or Fall 2015 semesters are invited to apply for the award by submitting a self-statement on their experiences and innovations in teaching Q-courses.

This self-statement and the Q-course data provided by the faculty will be used as primary evaluation for award consideration. Q-Faculty must demonstrate the following attributes in their responses.
   • Active participation in enhancing the course with QL
   • Strong commitment to the aims of the QLP through course development/assessment
   • Significant improvement in student performance and/or QL skills
   • Use of assessment for improving QL in the course
