School Counselor K-12 CCR Training Needs Survey
A new cross-sector action group is working to mobilize counselors, building administrators, and youth advisors to accelerate Oregon’s progress toward two of our state’s most ambitious goals--100% high school graduation and 80% postsecondary completion. We believe that when these key adults are coordinated and equipped to engage all students, especially low-income students, on viable pathways to postsecondary and career opportunities, Oregon’s graduation rates will soar.

Through convenings, webinars, and a continuously updated website, the group will share college and career readiness (CCR) resources, data, tools, and promising practices that support all youth-involved adults for guiding every student. The group represents Oregon’s school counselors, the Oregon Department of Education (ODE), the Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC), the Oregon Community College Association (OCCA), and the Oregon Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (OASFAA).
