Walltown Summer Jam is an annual celebration of community, culture, and the educational journey of our young people. This year we will be celebrating on Saturday, August 17, 2019, from 3PM - 6PM at the Walltown Park and Recreation Center - 1308 W. Club Blvd. Durham, NC 27705. It takes a village to raise up generations of young heroes, thus we are seeking your support through volunteer time, school supply donations, and/or financial contributions.

To volunteer, please complete the form below with your contact information and the volunteer shifts you are able to work.

Set-Up: Set-up tables, chairs, and other equipment/supplies prior to event. (8 volunteers needed)

Registration Table: Collect youth/family contact information. Distribute food and school supply tickets. (3 volunteers needed per shift)

School Supply Table: Hand out backpacks & school supplies. ( 4 volunteers needed per shift)

Food Station: Serve hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and cookies. (4 volunteers needed per shift)

Drink Station: Serve drinks and bottled water. (2 volunteers per shift)

Clean-Up: Break down tables, chairs, and other equipment/supplies after event. Pick up trash. (8 volunteers needed)
