Résumé Questionnaire
Please complete this questionnaire prior to scheduling your phone consultation. After you complete the questionnaire, please send a copy of your latest résumé (if you have one), cover letter (if you have one), and any other supporting documents to e.g.editors@gmail.com. I will remind you after you hit Submit.

Please read the questions below and take some time to think about your answers. Most of this form is optional, but the more information you give me, the better. Plus, it will get you thinking about the job search process. If you’re not a writer, don’t worry about this form. We’ll cover the bases during our phone call. I just want to get to know you and learn more about your accomplishments and aspirations to create a résumé that is an accurate reflection of you and your goals.

I appreciate your business and look forward to working with you.

If you have technical difficulties, please email e.g.editors@gmail.com.

What do you think differentiates you from other candidates in your field? (Everyone is unique. Do you have a sense of humor? Are you both strategic and detail-oriented? A great communicator? A leader? Can you juggle? Do you enjoy working with others? Are you more ambitious? Does your experience traveling abroad help you work with people in other countries? Do speak any other languages? (Indicate fluent, basic, or intermediate.)
What do you consider your three major career successes?  Now, think about your major successes and quantify or qualify wherever possible. (i.e., “led 30-person team to increase sales by 25% in 2011, or I was the sole manager of the finance department and developed processes for AR” How many people did you manage?  Did you manage a $25 budget or $25 billion? Be specific.)
Do you volunteer?
What are your interests outside of work?
Would you like a chronological format or a functional one? Combination? If you don't know, that's okay too.
Are you open to a creative format? Would you be willing to use color? If so, what color?
Is there anything else you would like to add?
