Application: Chambersburg Street Tree Planting Program
Property owners in parts of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th wards of the Borough of Chambersburg are eligible for a free consultation, tree, and planting from a professional landscaping contractor. Apply here to express your interest in planting a tree. A Borough representative will contact you to schedule a meeting at your property to select the planting location and tree species. Trees can be planted anywhere between the street and 3-8 feet behind the sidewalk.

Deadline: November 6, 2015

While we will make every effort to plant your tree this fall, scheduling and weather conflicts may cause delays. If the ground freezes before your tree is planted, your tree will be planted in spring 2016.

The Chambersburg Trees for Tomorrow Program is a partnership between the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Pennsylvania Office and the Chambersburg Borough Shade Tree Commission. Funding for trees and supplies is possible through generous funding from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, the Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds and a donation from an anonymous foundation.
