Sudare blind have been used long time in Japanese traditional house especially in summer. It has function to prevent direct solar radiation but still introduce natural ventilation. As an element of building, Sudare has function to create space with different activity which needs different level of privacy. In some conditions, people inside the house which uses Sudare as a partition, can see clearly to the outside environment but still maintain their privacy from outside to inside. Privacy level determine by the visibility level between each space which separated by partition.
