Supporting Your Child’s Emotional Intelligence
We all want our children to be emotionally intelligent: caring, kind, loving, patient, and composed. Maybe you’ve heard the brain research that children who are able to self-regulate do better academically and in later life. Parents and teachers sometimes struggle with how to handle those big emotions to support the development of emotional intelligence. Sometimes we may even find ourselves tiptoeing around our child’s big emotions trying to avoid upset and forgetting our long term goal of building emotional intelligence. Learn with us specifically how to coach your child through their emotions and model your values as your child builds their capacity for empathy and self-regulation.

Classes are $20 per person or $35 per couple. Child care will be available for this session. Child care will be $10 per child when available. RSVP is required for child care to ensure we have sufficient teachers available. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to our start time to get your child settled in. All classes are free to currently enrolled Our Neighborhood families; however child care during classes will be $10 per child.
