Ethics Committee Approved Preamble
Project title: Creating a Framework for Education in the Creative Industries
Names of Researchers:
John Hope – Principal Researcher
Burkhard Wuensche – Co-Principal Researcher
Craig Hansen – Student Researcher

Introduction
I am Craig Hansen and a student at the University of Auckland, Faculty of Education. My main supervisor is John Hope. I am currently the Head of Creative Technologies at Springfield International Curriculum School.

This Project
This project intends to create a framework for education in the creative industries. The research project will collect data during the next 6 months.  The expected benefits are for schools, graduates and the creative industries; to allow schools to create, review and develop their programmes of learning based on the framework developed in this project, so graduates are better prepared for success when they enter the creative industries. The summary of results will be used for the thesis of my PhD, conference presentations and journal articles.
