Policy:
Oak Mountain Youth Baseball and Softball requires that kids play in the age group determined by their age on April 30th of the year of the spring season or January 1st for Softball. In the Fall season, players will be assigned to the age group in accordance to where they will play in the up coming Spring.

Parents must fill out this form if they wish to have their child placed in an age group other than their legal age group. This request must be reviewed and approved by the Age Group Director and Executive Committee.

Players granted a play down request will be ineligible for All-Star play. Playing ability alone is not a reason for playing up. Factors to be determined will be school grade, maturity, size and weight, medical issues, relative age and effect on other players in the league.
