Wedding Booking
Congratulations on your decision to get married in the Catholic Church! If you would like to be married by Fr Richard Healey, please complete the information below.
Although the Australian Government now recognises the marriage of any two people (and this form asks the same questions that are required by the government form), at this time, the Rites of the Catholic Church only allow a man and a woman to marry; one of the people must be Catholic. The second person can be any faith or none.

Type of Wedding
The wedding liturgy is suitable for all couples, but especially if only one partner is Catholic, or if you do not attend Mass regularly. It is shorter, but does not have as many options to include music.

The Nuptial Mass is only suitable where both parties are Catholic and you and most of your guests regularly attend Mass.

If one partner is not baptised, the wedding liturgy is allowed, but the Nuptial Mass is not allowed.
Type of Marriage to be Celebrated *
A Marriage Preparation Course is compulsory. We will be attending a course before we get married. Details are available on the weddings page. *
