Sign up to Participate in the 2016 Great American Cleanup in Natchitoches
The City of Natchitoches and Keep Natchitoches Beautiful will hold a city-wide cleanup on Saturday, April 23, 2016 as part of the Great American Cleanup. Community groups and residents are asked to organize and participate in community cleanup efforts.

Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup is the country’s largest community improvement program that takes place in 20,000 communities, engaging more than 4 million volunteers and community members annually, to create a positive and lasting impact. This year’s theme, “CLEAN YOUR BLOCK PARTY” encourages and empowers all volunteers and participants to take what they learn from experiencing a public space Great American Cleanup event and bring it home to organize an event on their own block.

Following the example of Leaders Against Litter, individual residents, groups, businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate in the Great American Cleanup by organizing community cleanups throughout the City of Natchitoches and surrounding parish.  Keep Natchitoches Beautiful will provide cleanup supplies including garbage bags, rubber gloves, reflective vests, gloves and a limited number of T-shirts.  All supplies may be picked up at the Natchitoches Main Street Office located at 781 Front Street on Saturday, April 23rd from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
