NPL International Free Agency Posting Form

To be eligible for International Free Agency, a player must meet the following criteria:

1. Entered his first MLB organization as an international amateur, NOT via a major-league contract (e.g., Yasiel Puig) or the First-Year Player Draft. Players under the age of 25 who entered through a posting process ARE eligible for IFA, with the winning bidder then required to pay the posting fee.

2. Has not appeared in a U.S.-based league in more than one calendar year, regardless of games played in that season. This includes all minor leagues EXCEPT for the Dominican and Venezuelan Summer Leagues.

3. Has not previously been signed/owned in NPL. Players who have previously been released in NPL are available only as redrafts through the First-Year Player Draft.
