Connect Groups exist to provide
STRONG DISCIPLESHIP and
LOVING SUPPORT to their members.
Our Sunday gatherings are an essential part of our Christian life as they provide the opportunity to come together as one body united in vision and purpose, to worship together, to hear the Word preached as a whole congregation, to bring those who are seeking, to serve our household, and to teach our children. But when it comes to really growing in our faith and walking in strength, we believe that meeting with others in small groups is much more conducive to this.
Small groups provide a platform for building meaningful relationships with people, where trust and accountability flow naturally, where questions can be asked, wisdom can be shared, and where prayer and support can be offered.
Connect Groups meet together
at least fortnightly and are
DISCIPLESHIP and
RELATIONSHIP focussed:
- Discipleship - growing deeper in relationship with God through teaching and discussion of the Word and accountability to one another
- Relationship - growing deeper in relationship with one another through fellowship, conversation and prayer.
Once you have completed this form, the details will be sent to your Congregational Pastor who may wish to discuss or confirm the details with you. Once the details have been confirmed your Connect Group will be added to our directory of Connect Groups on Planning Center Groups. Church members can access this directory via the Family Church website and app, or via this link:

Anyone interested in attending a specific Connect Group can click 'Request to join' on the directory. Their enquiry will come to you via the church app and via email so that you can follow up with them. Once your group has been set up on Planning Center Groups, we will provide you with more information about how to use the app for contacting members, sharing resources, sending reminders, and taking attendance.
