The Austin Seminole Club is pleased to announce the offering of a $1000 one year, non-renewable Scholarship to one (1) student who will attend FSU next year.

To be eligible, the student must:

 Currently live in Burnet, Williamson, Travis, Bastrop, Caldwell, and Hays Counties

 Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

 Demonstrate involvement in their school or community. This includes but is not limited to: athletics, student governance, journalism, service organizations, music, drama or work experience

In order to apply, the student must:

 Complete the application

 Provide a resume

 Provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor, mentor, supervisor or advisor. Letters from family members are not acceptable. They can be sent to atxseminoles@gmail.com in a pdf format from the recommender.

 Provide a transcript from where they are enrolled currently (official or unofficial)

 Please send scanned copies or attachments of resume, and transcript to atxseminoles@gmail.com by June 30.

Essay question

In 1500 words or less, please answer the following:

 What extracurricular activities, community activities and/or volunteer work have you participated in and which have been the most meaningful experiences?

 Explain why you have decided to attend Florida State University and what you expect to gain from an education there.
