Charlottesville Junior Derby believes that money should not be the reason that keeps people from this amazing sport. However, we charge a fee because we need to be able to cover the costs of our space rental, the insurance we are required to carry, and the membership fee to the international governing body, Junior Roller Derby Association (JRDA). Scholarship availability is therefore predicated on our ability to cover those minimum costs. We will let applicants know whether scholarships are available this season by 14 days prior the start of the session (March 2, 2024).
