Satoyama Presents! Poultriculture Egg-stravaganza
Poultriculture Egg-stravaganza
Saturday, August 6 (rain date Sun. Aug. 7), 2016 1:30-3:00pm
Satoyama Homestead: https://goo.gl/maps/VTn1ybHsxsS2

Keeping chickens is trendy again!  Learn how to safely raise a flock of egg-laying hens or meat birds (or both), what these birds can contribute to your garden (hint: it rhymes with 'coop'!), and how to get them to lay 'enough for the whole darn crew'.  If fresh, pasture-raised eggs don't tempt you, they also make for adorable garden pest control!

Wear comfortable walking shoes or boots.

This Satoyama Presents! event is free of charge.  In-kind and voluntary donations are appreciated.
Suggested in-kind donations: Natural (hormone-/medication-free), in-date layer poultry feed; empty egg cartons
Or
Suggested voluntary donation: $10
