The VET Practitioners' Network is a group of like-minded VET practitioners working in the VET sector managing, coordinating, training, assessing and/or developing curriculum for the qualifications within the TAE Training Package.
The network was initially established for public VET sector practitioners (TAFEs) but was later extended to include other practitioners from the private and not-for-profit training organisations.
Network purpose:
To allow members to share good practice
To share opportunities for professional development of its members
To Keep abreast of TAE qualifications and training package revisions
To contribute to the maintenance of currency as trainers and assessors
To provide advice and feedback to key stakeholders eg (PWC)
To offer opportunities for members to participate in validation meetings of each RTOs’ assessment strategies, processes, assessment judgments and assessment tools used in the assessment of the qualifications in the TAE Training Package.
Membership:
Membership is open to all VET Teachers, assessors and administrators working with TAE Training Package. Membership is unrestricted and all members welcome to attend the quarterly meetings, either in person or online via Skype. At this stage, membership is free.
