The Scholastic Media Day for the Northwest Region of the North Carolina Scholastic Media Association (NCSMA) will be held 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
Frank LoMonte of the Student Press Law Center (SPLC) is the featured speaker, and sessions covering design trends, sports photography, digital media, yearbooks, reporting and more will be presented by faculty and staff of Appalachian State University, regional media professionals and student journalists from the App State Student Media Center.
Please fill out the form below to register for the workshop. The registration fee is $15 per person, and includes lunch. No refunds will be given, though substitutions for attendees may be made.
