Complete this form to submit a proposal for the 2015 WIDE-EMU Conference at Michigan State University on Saturday, October 10, 2015. All proposals must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on August 30, 2015.
Sessions will be 70-minutes and should be planned to allow *at least 30 minutes of Q&A and conversation*. In keeping with the idea of an unconference, we will also schedule open sessions to allow for an emergent program (e.g., those who want to convene spontaneous sessions on October 10).
We seek proposals for three types of sessions:
• Do: a demonstration or a workshop. Propose a session focused on the "how to" related to a software application or pedagogical approach.
• Make: produce something (or the beginning of something). Propose a session in which participants will "make" a web site, a lesson plan, a manifesto, a syllabus, etc.
• Talk: much like a typical conference presentation, only short-form. Propose a brief paper, a roundtable discussion, a panel, etc. Individual talks should not exceed *seven* minutes.
If you propose a panel, please plan for no more than seven minutes per presenter because we may schedule additional speakers for that session (e.g., adding one or two independent speaker to three presenters who submitted as a panel).
