Caleb Moore and Edgar Rooker - Award Coordinators

Requirements for Nomination:
1. Current member of NCMEA/NAfME (unless deceased or retired)
2. Service as an active band director in music education in the North Carolina Public or Private Schools for a period of not
     less than 10 years.
3. Demonstrates excellence in the teaching of music.
4. Has made significant contributions to the improvement of music education and the betterment of the profession.
     Please include positions of leadership on district, state, and national levels.
5. Fulfillment of the highest ideals and professional integrity during the time of service.
6. Consistent maintenance of a well-balanced program.
7. Active participation in various activities of the association.
8. Consistently high contest/festival scores and important consideration but not a requirement.
9. Must be fully retired form service but can be currently working.
