Stand with Somali Youth
Join us at the federal courthouse throughout the trial of local Muslim youth from the Somali community entrapped by the FBI. We will stand with these young men's families and denounce the Dept. of Justice's entrapment, surveillance, and terror baiting of the Somali community. This case is part of an ongoing organized attack against the East African community facing rising levels of Islamophobia, xenophobia, and racism and government repression.

Along with signing up for court support shifts for which you can find more information below, here are a few other ways you can help:

*Invite friends and community members to also sign up for a court support shift with this form.

*Throughout the trial, we will have a visible support presence in front of the courthouse from 8am to 8:30. Please stop by and hold a sign for a few minutes, and let these families know they are not alone.

*On Thursdays, we will have a support rally in front of the courthouse at 4:30pm. Show these families and the broader community that we oppose this government repression.

*Guled, Mohammed and Abdirahman were arrested more than a year ago. They were breadwinners for their families. Their mothers, Fadumo, Farhiyo, and Ayan, are in court every day, making it more difficult to make ends meet. Organized by the Coalition to Defend the Muslim Community. Participating organizations include the Global Somali Diaspora, the Anti-War Committee, Minnesotans against Islamophobia, and others.
