13th Annual Civic Works Ricky Myers Day of Service Volunteer Registration
Join Civic Works at our 13th Annual Ricky Myers Day of Service! The event celebrates Civic Works’ mission by engaging hundreds of volunteers to work on service projects in Baltimore and honors the life of Ricky Myers, a staff member who dedicated his life to serving Baltimore’s communities.

Last year, Day of Service volunteers completed 19 service projects throughout Baltimore.  They planted 99 trees and 6,000 bulbs, cleaned and maintained public parks and community green spaces, beautified a city school, and made improvements to Clifton Mansion and three farms.

Volunteers will receive a breakfast, t-shirts, refreshments and an amazing experience serving Baltimore’s communities! (**Please note: in the past we served lunch at Clifton Mansion, this year we will be distributing food at project sites.)
 
Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 (Rain or Shine)
8:00am – 1:00pm

Kick off will take place at Clifton Mansion, 2701 Saint Lo Drive, Baltimore, MD 21213.
Projects take place throughout the city - assignments will be announced in September.

Schedule:
Please note, if you or your group makes arrangements to meet at the project site, please do so at 9:15 am. Otherwise, please meet us at the Mansion 8-8:30 am.

8:00 am - Arrive at Clifton Mansion to register and collect your t-shirt.  Kick-off, breakfast and warm up activities.
9:00 am - Head out to your project site location.
9:15 am - Meet your crew leader and site leader.  Start your service project!
12:30pm - Finish up service project, reflection, light lunches distributed.
1:00 pm - Head home - THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Clifton Mansion Location and Parking:
Clifton Mansion is located at 2701 Saint Lo Drive, Baltimore, MD 21213 (in Clifton Park). There is free parking available along the roads surrounding the mansion.  If this area fills up, please park at the Lake Clifton Campus/Reach! Partnership School parking lot (also free), located at 2801 Saint Lo Drive, Baltimore, MD 21213 and walk up to Clifton Mansion (approx. 7 minutes).

Group members are required to register individually.
