Building a "long" list of emerging issues
This survey is intended to help the Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) team develop an initial, rough list of potential emerging issues.  Based on the development of a "long" list of issues, we plan to follow up with a more focussed survey.

Emerging issues can be defined in different ways, but for the purposes of this survey users are invited to view the range of issues broadly, considering whether they relate - positively or negatively - to the three dimensions of sustainable development. The categorization of an issue as “emerging” involves a degree of subjective judgment. An issue can also be understood as emerging where the scientific community considers it important, but the policy community has not given it “adequate” attention. Another view is that an issue becomes “emerging” as soon as there scientific confidence on causality is established.

Your input is very valuable and will be much appreciated!
