8. FUNDING FOR COURSE PARTICIPATION
Applicants are encouraged to seek scholarships in their own countries - from state institutions, foundations, or employers.
Applicants are expected to cover the costs of their participation (travel, fees and living expenses). In cases of proven financial need (stated in writing by applicant and/or employer via e-mail at
info@scmcourse.com), SCM course organisers administer a limited number of scholarships, offered by the Heinrich Boell Stiftung Greece, that are reserved exclusively for accepted course participants. These scholarships only cover the course’s fee and do not include subsistence expenses or travel expenses. Having funding available in no way ensures selection for a course, nor does admission to a course automatically entail concession of a scholarship.
