FIRST Championship Conferences Call for Proposals
The submission deadline has been extended to January 8.
Notification letters will be sent to the primary presenter via email in mid January of 2018. If selected to present, you will have two weeks to notify FIRST of your of acceptance to present.
All submissions must include all the information requested. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Since successful presenters will have the following, please include explanations to each in your description. 1) Have firsthand experience with their topic and understand their audience; 2) Provide timely and relevant information that can be put into immediate use; 3) Engage participants in an activity or hands-on learning; 4) Provide clear and useful handouts for workshop attendees; and/or 5) Present effective strategies focused on one or more special populations or other underrepresented groups.

Presenter Agreement
In order to be a presenter at the FIRST Championship Conference, you must agree to each of the following terms.

I agree to upload a copy of my presentation and handouts to an assigned location before the start of the conference. (The specific location will be assigned in April, and you will be contacted via email to fulfill this request.) Conference participants will have access to these files to improve learning and engagement.

Should my workshop session be recorded by a person employed or contracted by FIRST, I acknowledge that FIRST may edit the video and/or audio and post the content to the FIRST website and/or use the content for promotional reasons. I shall retain ownership and copyright of my original workshop presentation materials and any other visual aids prepared by me for use at the FIRST Championship Conference. I give permission to FIRST to post my workshop materials on the web for participant access before and after the conference.
