Localgiving will explain how online fundraising can help your organisation become less dependent on grants, giving you the tools and freedom to raise funds from individuals who care about your cause.
We will explore the following topics:
- Why you should be fundraising online
- What Localgiving offers: Gift Aid, appeal and fundraising pages, match fund campaigns
- Tips for effectively communicating your work
- Asking supporters to fundraise for your cause
Outcome: An understanding of how Localgiving can help groups to open up a new channel of funding for their cause and tips for how to fundraise effectively online.
Groups who attend the training are eligible for a years free membership on Localgiving if they complete the full sign up process and have a live Localgiving page before 16th June. If groups are not able to make this deadline we are also able to offer 50% discount for groups who complete the full sign up process and have a live Localgiving page before 30th June. Vouchers for both of these offers will be distributed at the training and only groups who attend the training are eligible for these offers.
