2016 School Clean Up Day
Children residing in Central City are zoned for Hayes K-8 and Carver High School.

>>On Saturday, July 30 from 8am-noon, let's join together and help make these schools nice for the new school year beginning on August 8. This is in conjunction with Hands On Birmingham, Birmingham City Schools, and the Birmingham Education Foundation.

Volunteers will be planting flowers, edging, mowing and landscaping around Hayes K-8 School and Carver High School front entrances.  Once you arrive on site, you will be greeted by the Site Coordinator and given further instructions. Please be sure to dress appropriately. Water will be provided.  You are encouraged to bring rakes, shovels, garden tools, gloves and protective glasses and masks.
