我們的世界正面臨著貧困、正義無法伸張、氣候變遷、生物多樣性減損和缺乏安全和完善的衛生、教育、糧食和淨水等的大問題，這對現在和未來世代都是不好的。世界各國領導人已經起草了新的全球永續發展目標(Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs)，試圖保護環境、實現人權並促進發展。他們同意在今年9月，於聯合國紐約總部召開專門會議，討論這些永續發展目標。

我們將在2015年9月20日在紐約聯合國會議時，在紐約舉辦一個特別的「兒童永續發展高峰會」並發表此兒童宣言，親手交給聯合國和各國領導人和高層決策者。
我們需要聽到你，身為兒童的聲音來拯救地球，推動更好的兒童權利、讓世界永續發展的目標得以落實。

Our world is facing big problems of poverty, injustice, climate change, biodiversity loss, and lack of health, education, food and water for children. World leaders have drafted new global Sustainable Development Goals to try to protect the environment, realise human rights and promote development. They will agree on these Sustainable Development Goals at a special meeting of the United Nations in New York in September 2015.
This new global agenda will have an important impact on children and future generations, so WE must be part of the solution!
We, the child authors of the United Nations / Voices of Future Generations International Children’s Book Series, invite any and all children of the world to help us draft a 2015 Children’s Declaration on the World’s Sustainable Development Goals.
We plan to finalise our Children’s Declaration at a special Children’s Summit on the World’s Sustainable Development Goals on 20 September 2015 in New York and present it to senior decision-makers and world leaders of the United Nations and beyond.
We need to hear YOUR ideas on how we, as children, can raise our voices to save the planet and promote better access to our rights, and how we can contribute to make the world’s Sustainable Development Goals happen on the ground.

目標15：保護、維護及促進領地生態系統的永續使用，永續的管理森林，對抗沙漠化，終止及逆轉土地劣化，並遏止生物多樣性的喪失
Goal 15: Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss

目標16：促進和平且包容的社會，以落實永續發展；提供司法管道給所有人；在所有階層建立有效的、負責的且包容的制度
Goal 16: Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels
