FIELD TRIPS ARE FOR CHILDREN ENTERING DK/K-6TH GRADE IN THE FALL
DK - 1st grade trips are on Tuesday.
2nd - 3rd grade trips are on Wednesday.
4th - 6th grade trips are on Thursday.
Our staff ratio is 1 adult for every 5 children on field trips.
We will go on several walking trips throughout the week including Houseman's Ice Cream, Byron Township Library and area parks and playgrounds.
The last two weeks of the summer there are no field trips planned.
Watch for special events to be announced through out the summer - Zumba for sure!

Strawberry Picking at Beard's Produce in Dorr, Mi. COST $2.00 *
Month of June: When the berries are ripe, we will visit Beard's and pick strawberries to bring back to the ECC and make freezer jam together. This trip is one that will happen several times in June, and we will schedule the children on days they are in attendance at RTB. You will be notified when we are traveling to the Strawberry Patch.
Kid's Games For 1st - 6th GRADE ONLY COST - FREE! *
June 20 - June 24: Kids Games is a faith based program very similar to a VBS that runs from 900 - 12:30 M - F. We will walk from the ECC to Nickels Intermediate School. If your child is part-time at RTB, they can attend the days they don't come to RTB, if you self-transport. There will be a separate registration for Kids Games required at a later date. We will leave at 8:45 each day.Cost: $5 for Kids Games T-shirt. We will use this for our field trip t-shirts for the rest of the summer

Hudsonville Nature Center and Spring Grove Park  COST - $5.00 *
June 29: We will leave at 9:00 for a guided tour of the Hudsonville Nature Center, explore the trails there and then head to Spring Grove Park for a picnic lunch. MOSQUITO REPELLENT REQUIRED!
Grand Rapids Children's Museum - Cost $7.00 *
Jul 6th:  We will leave at 9:30 to tour the GR Children's Museum and enjoy lunch downtown.  Return time is approximately 12:30.  
Holland Aquatic Center  COST $8.00 *
July 13th: We will leave at 10:30 and have lunch at Huizinga Park. We will play at the Splash Pad from 1:00 - 3:00, arriving back at the ECC at approximately 3:45.
Blueberry Picking at Beard's Produce in Dorr, Mi. COST $2.00 *
For the month of July - when the berries are ripe, we will visit Beard's and pick blueberries to bring back to the ECC and make blueberry treats together. This trip is one that will happen several times in July, and we will schedule the children on days they are in attendance at RTB. You will be notified when we are traveling to the Blueberry field.
Pinewood Park Splashpad and Gerald R. Ford Airport Viewing area - COST: $5.00 *
July 20th: We will leave at 9:45 to play at the Pinewood Park splashpad, and then head to the airport viewing area to watch the planes come and go. We will return to the ECC by 2:30 PM.
Charlton Park, Hastings, Mi - Cost $5.00 *
Jul 27th- We will spend the day exploring Charlton Park's historic village, walking the trails and playing on the playground. This is a new trip for RTB and we are excited to see what it's all about!
Hudsonville Lanes and Hagar Park - COST: $7.00 *
Aug 3rd: We will leave at 9:00 head to Hudsonville Lanes to bowl and then to Hagar Park to play and have lunch. We will return to the ECC at approximately 3:00. Tennis shoes and socks REQUIRED for this trip!
Kroc Center Splash Pad $8.00 *
Aug 10th: We will leave at 10:00, lunch at Whistlestop Park and then head to the Kroc Center to enjoy their Splash Pad.
Millennium Park Splash Pad - COST - $8.00 *
Aug 17th: We will leave at 9:30 and return at 2:30. This is the Splash Pad ONLY - we are not permitted to visit the lake.
Bounce House Slip and Slide - COST - $2.00 *
September 1st - The fun comes to us as we play in the yard at the ECC celebrating the last week of Summer 2016!
