Lunchtime Workshop Series on Community-Based Learning  February - March 2016
DCU Learning Innovation Unit, in collaboration with DCU Office of Civic Engagement, will offer a lunchtime workshop series on community-based learning focussing on:

The pedagogy and principles of community-based learning
The benefits of a community engaged curricula for personal, academic, professional and civic development of higher education students
Introducing community-based learning elements into curricula and assessment
Best practice in the field of community-based learning in Ireland and Dublin City University

The sessions will take place in The Bea Orpen Building, Room DG10 (session 1 and 2) and in School of Nursing and Human Sciences, Room H306 (session 3).

Light lunch will be provided.
