Award Eligibility:
Player who are 2nd or 3rd year players
Player is expected to be one of the top returning regional players next year  but has not yet won this event or reached the finals of an ITA National event or has not won an ITA Regional Championship event
Players must have been ranked nationally, or if the region does not have a candidate who has achieved a national ranking, must have been ranked regionally.
This award cannot be received by the same individual in multiple years.

Selection:
National awards are selected by the national award committee and regional awards are selected by the regional award committee.
