University Innovation Fellows are student leaders trained to expand innovation and entrepreneurship offerings on their campuses.The program is part of a national movement to ensure today’s students have the necessary attitudes, skills and knowledge required for them to compete in the economy of the future. Must be a Morgan State University undergraduate student, sophomore or junior
Must be in good standing with the University (not on academic probation; GPA of 2.75 or higher preferred)
How to apply?
Part 1:
Complete this form by October 3rd, 2016.
Submit a letter of recommendation from a faculty member (email it to Dr. Mary K. Foster at
mary.foster@morgan.edu by October 3rd, 2016)
Part 2:
If you are selected to represent Morgan, you will need to attend 2-3 preparation meetings and complete an application (short answers and videos) by October 24th, 2016.
What does the program entail?
Six weeks of training (about 4-6 hours a week) starting in late January/early February
Once the training is successfully completed, you will be pinned in a pinning ceremony
You will attend a 3-4 day meeting in Silicon Valley with all the other Fellows (Stanford, Google, etc.) in the Spring of 2017
Then you work to effect change at Morgan
