Bachata is a style of music and dance from the Dominican Republic. The music and the dance of the bachata are both gaining international popularity. Bachata can trace its origins to popular Cuban music and dance traditions.
Bachata Moderna (Modern Bachata) is one of the many styles in Bachata dancing. This style is seen as stepping away from the side-to-side movements of Traditional Bachata, while still maintaining its essence.

DRESS CODE:
There is no specific dress code for this class, and people usually wear casual clothes. For the shoes, ladies can wear flats or heels, as long as they are comfortable to dance in for one hour, and also ensuring they have an ankle strap or are well fitted to the feet so they don't slip out as you dance or turn. Sneakers are NOT recommended.
