Thank you for your interest in serving as a committee head for the New Student Affairs Professionals (New SAPs). We will select three committee heads, one for each of our branches, for the 2019-2020 academic year. Responsibilities of committee heads are:
Attend biweekly leadership planning meeting
Be in rotation to serve as point person for events
Recruit committee members
Plan at least 2 events per month in given branch
Complete event guide for each event held
Respond timely to communication with Program Coordinators
Maintain records
Assist in large events outside of committee area

In addition to responsibilities above, specific committee responsibilities include:
Social:
Welcome baskets to new members
Host lunch for new staff members

Professional Development:
Create and summarize biannual survey
Assist in programming for new staff orientations

Self-Care:
Implement walking groups or other such activities that promote a healthy lifestyle
Assist in programming for new staff orientations
