If you have undertaken lessons on this instrument in the past please provide some details regarding experience and levels of achievement
This could include AMEB examination levels, years learning or playing the instrument & other ensemble or performance experience on the instrument
It is understood that the student will have a weekly lesson and that they will turn up prepared to each lesson *
This includes with their instrument and other materials required for the lesson
It is understood that the student has the responsibility to check each week when their lesson time is and to attend that lesson *
Timetables will be published on the music department website (www.sandymusicdept,com) and outside of the Music Department
It is understood that it is the students responsibility to attend EVERY lesson *
This does not apply to students who are absent from school due to illness or are on a school sanctioned educational activity (excursion)
It is understood that the student will be required to complete regular practice on their instrument at home as set by the teacher *
It is understood that Instrumental Music lessons occur during class time and students will be responsible to catch up on coursework that is missed whilst at a Instrumental Music lesson (Year 12 students have their lessons in free periods) *
Lessons are scheduled on a rotating timetable so the student won't miss the same class on a regular basis.
It is understood that in addition to undertaking instrumental music lessons the student MUST be involved in one of the schools music ensembles *
The ensemble that the student engages in will be arranged by the Instrumental Music Teacher
It is understood that the student MUST attend each ensemble rehearsal and perform at the required performance events. *

It is understood that instrumental fees are $350 per semester, $120 per semester for a second instrument, $100 per year for instrument hire *
It is understood that the student's place in the program could be jeopardised if the Parent/Guardian has not made full payment OR entered into a payment plan with the school for Instrumental Music Fees by the start of Semester 1 and 2 *
Payments can be made to the Senior Campus Office either by cash, cheque or eftpos.
It is understood that fees are NON-REFUNDABLE *
