The Washington Region Early Care & Education Workforce Network formed in response to the National Academy of Medicine's 2015 report "Transforming the Workforce for Children Birth Through Age 8: A Unifying Foundation." Our regional network was selected to participate in a planning process, along with a handful of other states across the country, to develop a local strategic plan for our ECE workforce.
