Idaho Business Education Awards -
IBEA strives to identify and recognize outstanding Business Educators and friends of business education in Idaho.  As an IBEA member, please take time this year to nominate a deserving educator or friend of education for recognition by IBEA in one of nine categories. You may also nominate yourself! Awards will be presented at the virtual IBEA conference this Fall.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD  
This award is for an individual who has served and contributed to IBEA and business education through professional activities that include leadership, service, honors and awards, and/or research and writing.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD FOR A COMPANY, A COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE, OR A LEGISLATOR
This award is designed to recognize a company or individual who does not necessarily maintain membership in IBEA but has contributed to business education. Only one award may be given each year to an Organization, or to a Representative of an Organization, or to a Legislator.

EMERGING PROFESSIONAL TEACHER AWARD
This award recognizes an emerging teacher for professionalism in district, regional, and/or state involvement, leadership, and contribution to IBEA and business education.  

FRIEND OF EDUCATION AWARD
This award is for an individual who has contributed to education in Idaho, with preference given to contributions to business education.  

OUTSTANDING CTSO ADVISOR
This award recognizes outstanding service to Business Professionals of America in Idaho through local chapter, regional, or state involvement and contribution to student leadership development. Only one award per year will be given to either a middle, secondary, or postsecondary level BPA advisor.  

OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR -- FOUR DISTINCT AWARDS
Elementary/Middle - This award is given to recognize outstanding professionalism in business education through classroom involvement, curriculum development, student organization contribution, administrative responsibilities, and/or publications by a business teacher at the elementary or middle school level.

Secondary - This award is given to recognize outstanding professionalism in business education through classroom involvement, curriculum development, student organization contribution, administrative responsibilities, and/or publications by a business teacher at the secondary school level.

Postsecondary, Technical or Community College (less than 4 year institution) - This award is given to recognize outstanding professionalism in business education through classroom involvement, curriculum development, student organization contribution, administrative responsibilities, and/or publications by a business teacher at the postsecondary level, technical or community college (less than 4 year institution).

Postsecondary, University (4 year institution) - This award is given to recognize outstanding professionalism in business education through classroom involvement, curriculum development, student organization contribution, administrative responsibilities, and/or publications by a business teacher at the postsecondary level, university (4 year institution).
