Thank you for your interest in volunteering for The Lakefront Literacy Project's Little Free Library at Euclid Beach Park. This is a grant funded, community-led, volunteer run project and we are thrilled to have you on board as a participant.

Please submit the form below and Ali Lukacsy, co-Founder of The LLP will be touch to confirm dates. The library will appear each Saturday from the end of May through the end of September 2015 and at special events including Euclid Beach Live! Friday night concerts. We are presently looking for volunteers who can man the library on Saturday afternoons from 11:30am to 2pm, which we've concluded are the busiest hours for the Park and also when a lifeguard will be on duty.

The library has wheels and is stored in a room in the concessions building. The library will appear on the sidewalk just north of the concessions building. One of the co-Founders (Ali, Emily, or Robert) will roll the cart from and back into the storage room at the beginning and conclusion of each 2.5 hour shift. Most likely there will be one volunteer per shift in addition to a co-Founder. If you select a date below that was already selected by another volunteer we will ask you to select another date. We are filling up our schedule on a first-come, first-served basis.

The "rules" of the volunteer shift are few and loose: During your volunteer shift you are free to sit, stand, and engage with users of the library as you wish. Each user is requested to take only one book per person at a time to ensure a good selection for every user, although you may bend these rules - we want people to read after all! We will have a designated box for return of books. While you are volunteering, feel free to borrow a book of your own and relax!
