NYU Center for K12 STEM Education CrEST Program Summer 2017
Thank you for your interest in NYU Center for K12 STEM Education's CrEST (Creativity in Engineering, Science, and Technology) summer workshops. NYU Center for K-12 STEM Education offers programs that are hands-on and activity-based. We allow young people to be engaged and be exposed to different STEM disciplines through designing, programming, and prototyping. CrEST is a program that emphasizes hands-on and project-based activities in circuitry, electronics, mechanical systems, physical computing, robotics, 3D designing and printing, and other STEM disciplines. The workshops will be instructed by teams of NYC high school and NYU graduate and undergraduate students.

Our program will offer week long workshops on the weeks of July 9, 16, 23, 30, and August 13. In the six weeks, there will be three different one week-long workshop curriculums. Therefore, you can choose up to three weeks worth of different workshops. There are four slots open each week, and each slot are available for cohorts of 12-16 middle school students.

Please note that each organization will need to pay $500 per cohort. Transportation to and from our campus, as well as lunch arrangements are not included in the fee, and they are the responsibilities of your organization.
