Join VYP's Community Outreach Committee as we volunteer at Opportunity Village's Magical Forest. Volunteer duties will be assigned at check-in.
Opportunity Village is a local charity that serves people with intellectual disabilities. All proceeds from the Magical Forest go directly to support programs and services we provide for the 3,000 people we serve annually.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VOLUNTEERS:
- We respectfully request that all volunteers MUST be 18 and over.
- Volunteer duties will be assigned at check-in nightly.
- Leave all valuables in your car or at home.
- Dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes.
- We require 75-100 volunteers nightly to run the Magical Forest.
- Volunteers play a critical role in the success and safety of this event!
If you are unable to keep your scheduled volunteer shift, please find your replacement OR the number of volunteers in your group has changed, please notify your volunteer coordinator at least 48 hours BEFORE your shift so we can make all necessary arrangements.
