Girls Entrepreneurship & Technology (GET) program is a new initiative by SMART Liberia with funding from Sundial Brands. GET aims to increase economic opportunities for girls and young women in Liberia aged 18-35 by supporting them with entrepreneurship, technology and employability skills. This program will support girls and young women who face multiple barriers in achieving financial stability for themselves and their families, helping to strengthen and lift their families and communities out of poverty.

Applications are due by Tuesday July 5, 2016 at 5:00 PM.

Stages of the fellowship:

Entrepreneurship training: We will provide entrepreneurship, technology and employability skills training for 20 girls and young women between the ages of 18-35.
Business plan submission: You will submit a business plan after the entrepreneurship training.
Pitch Competition: The best business plans will pitch their business ideas in front of a panel of judges
Seed Funding: Three business ideas will be selected and fellows will be given seed funding to launch their businesses
Mentorship/Incubation: We will provide ongoing mentorship and support from successful entrepreneurs, our office space and a host of other resources for a year.
