Middle/High School Health Clinic

Alcona Community High School and Alcona Health Centers are inventigating the creation of a satellite school-based clinic at our middle/high school.   When the Tiger Clinic was started at Alcona Elementary, the goal was to consider implementation of a clinic in the future to support secondary students.  We have many students who miss a significant amount of school due to medical appointments or illness and this harms the chances of success in the classroom.  The clinic would not replace any services you receive from your regular provider and in accordance with school policies, it will only support abstinence. The clinic would be funded completely by your health insurance for provision of services and the Alcona Health Center sliding fee scale.  We are excited to share this news with you, but also want to have family and community support to pursue this venture.  Please complete the short survey below to provide any feedback you may have.
