CIVIL ENGINEERING MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
ASCE UCD is organizing a Civil Engineering Mentorship Program to connect Civil Engineering underclassmen with upperclassmen.

"Engineering" can sound like a daunting major, and early on, math and physics can sound really intimidating. As underclassmen, it takes several years before you ever start taking another civil engineering course. But it's never too late to start learning about what Civil Engineering is about!

Our hope is to connect experienced upperclassmen with underclassmen to share their experiences of classes and industry work. Mentors are encouraged to keep their mentees up to date with civil engineering activities during their time in coursework outside of our major.

ASCE UCD will be planning two social events for mentors and mentees to meet. Pairs are encouraged to set up other meetings outside of these times to further this relationship. Our Mentorship Program Kickoff is on Thursday, January 16, 2016!
